National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET 2019 Online Application will be started from 1st November 2018. National Testing Agency (NTA) will publish the official notification of the NEET Exam for admission on MBBS and BDS course under all Government and Private Medical colleges all over India. There is no state level Medical entrance exam will be held for Medical admission on MBBS or BDS  course. Candidates have to seat for NTA NEET 2019 Examination.

NTA NEET 2019 Online Application

NEET 2019 Examination will be held on 5th May 2019 across all over India. The Online application will be started from the 1st November to 30th November 2018 on ntaneet.nic.in website. NTA NEET 2019 Score and Rank card will be required for admission on MBBS or BDS course at state medical colleges and central medical colleges. 85% of medical seats will be reserved for State quota and 15% seats for all India quota.

NTA NEET Eligibility

The National Testing Agency (NTA) made some small changes on the eligibility criteria for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019. All the details are given below.


Academic Qualification: Students who passed their 12th Class Board Exam or any equivalent exam from CBSE, ICSE or any other State Board, are eligible for NTA NEET 2019 Exam. Students who will appear 12th Board Exam this year, also apply for this NEET Exam.

 

Subject Combination: Candidates have to pass their 12th Exam with at least Five subjects among which Physics, Chemistry, Biology / Biotechnology and English must be the subjects.

Marks Required: Candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology in aggregate. For reserved category candidates 40% marks and for Pwd candidates 45% marks required.

Age Limit: The minimum age limit to apply for NTA NEET 2019 Exam is 17 years and maximum age limit is 25 years as on 31st December 2019. Five years age relaxation available for SC/ST/OBC/PWS students.

Open School Students: Students who are studying in any Open School like NIOS and have the required subject combination, they also can apply for NTA NEET UG 2019 Exam.

NEET 2019 Online Application Process

The NTA National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) 2019 Online Application will be started on 1st November 2018. The online mode of application is Online through NTA NEET application Portal. Know the Online Registration for NTA NEET 2019 Exam and pay the fees. Step by step application process described below.

Step-1: Candidates have to apply Online for Nationation Testing Agency (NTA) NEET Exam. To apply and register yourself visit the NEET UG 2019 Application Portal, https://ntaneet.nic.in and click on the Fill the Application Form link.

Step-2: Before NEET Online Application scanned the Candidate’s photograph, Signature, Class 10th & 12th Marksheet and Caste Certificate (if applicable) for upload at the time of Online Application.

Step-3: Now fill the Online Application Form correctly with all your details information. Create your Password and enter a Security Question and it answers. After that enter the OTP, which will send to your mobile number. Then Click on the PREVIEW & SUBMIT option for registration. Note down the Provisional Application Number for further log into this portal.


Step-4: You have to log in now with your Application Number and Password. Then fill some Basic Information, your Academic Information, Communication Address and question paper medium. Review all the details and click the FINAL SUBMIT button to submit your application.

 

Step-5: Now you have to upload your scanned Photograph and Signature into NTA NEET 2019 Application Portal.

Step-6: After uploading your Photograph and Signature, you have to pay the Application fees of NTA NEET 2019 Exam through any one of these methods – Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking, UPI, SBI e-Challan. The application fees details are given below.

Step-7: After Successful payment, download the Confirmation Page. No need to send it to anywhere by post. Keep it for future reference.

NEET 2019 Exam Date

NTA National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 Exam will be held on the 5th May 2019 all over India. NEET-UG will be a pen-paper based offline exam. The examination will start from 02:00 pm and will continue to 05:00 p.m. The duration of the test will be 3 hours.

Question Pattern

Total Marks: The NTA NEET UG Exam will be only one paper. This question paper will contain 180 objective MCQ type questions with four alternative answers with a single correct answer. Each question will carry 4 marks. Total marks for NEET Exam will 720.

 

Syllabus: Questions of NEET 2019 exam will come from these following subjects – Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany & Zoology).

Negative Marking: Total 180 questions will available on the question paper and each question carries 4 marks. So, total marks are 720. For each correct answer students will get 4 marks and for each wrong answer 1 mark will deduct from the total score.

Questions Number: Total 45 questions from Physics and 45 questions for Chemistry. Remaining 90 questions comes from Biology (Zoology and Botany) subject.

Question Medium: Question paper of NEET 2019 Exam will be in 11 regional languages, which are – English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Urdu. For each State the question paper medium will be English and the local regional language of that state.

Admit Card for NEET 2019 Exam

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test NEET 2019 Admit Card will available form the 14th April. Candidates have to download their NTA NEET 2019 Admit Card from http://ntaneet.nic.in website. Just log in to this website with the ‘Registration Number’ and Password then download your admit card.

NEET Admit Card will contain the Name of the Examination Center, Exam Date and Time and other important information. Candidates have to carry one photo ID card along with the NEET Admit Card at the exam hall.

Result & Rank Card

The result of NEET UG Examination will be available from 5th June on the National Testing Agency (NTA) NEET website. Candidates can check their State Rank, All India Rank (AIR) and Quota Rank after login with the Registration Number and Password. Candidates can also download the NEET Rank card. According to the notification, 85% seats are reserved state quota and remaining 15% of all India quota.

Cut off Marks for NEET Exam

The cut-off or qualifying marks is the minimum marks required to qualify the NTA NEET entrance examination.  The NEET Cut-off marks depend upon various factors like- questions standard, the number of students appeared the examination, the number of percentiles etc. NTA published the NEET 2018 cut off marks/qualifying marks out of 720.
