Eligibility Criteria
To apply Rupashree Scheme, the applicant must have to fulfil the following eligibility guideline. Know all the details info about, who can apply for Rupashree Scheme and then Rupashree Prakalpa download the application form.
- The age of the girl must be above 18 years at the time of her marriage to apply for the Rupashree Scheme.
- The annual family income does not exceed Rs. 1.5 lack.

Rupashree Prakalpa Application Process
The Application Form of Rupashree Prakalpa already available. Application Forms for Rupashree Scheme will be available at the Municipality Office or from the BDO office or SDO Office. Following documents are required to apply the Rupashree scheme offline. These documents will attach with the Rupashree Prakalpa Application Form.
- DOB Proof Certificate (Madhyamik Admit/Birth Certificate).
- Complete details info of the Groom. (Name, Address, ID Proof)
- Marriage Invitation Card or Any Other Proof.
- Declaration copy of the Bride about her marriage.
- Id Proof (Voter Card, Aadhaar Card).

Selection Process
Collect the Rupashree scheme Application Form from BDO, SDO or Municipality Office and fill it correctly. Attach the required documents with it and submit it on the following office. An Enquiry Officer may visit the Applicant’s house for verification. After Successful verification, the officer will pass the application form.
Selected/Passed applicants will receive the Rupashree Scheme amount directly on their Bank account before one week of her marriage.
You cannot check your Rupashree Prakalpa Application Status Online. You can contact to your Panchayat or Municipality office for updates.
How to Check Rupashree Payment Status
Selected applicants can check their Rupashree Scheme payment status online. If you applied for the Rupashree scheme and also got your Rupashree ID number, then you can check your expected payment date for the Rupashree Scheme amount online.
To check your Rupashree Payment date, you will need only these two pieces of information –
- Your Rupashree ID Number
- Year of Application

Benefits & Aim of Rupashree Scheme
The following benefits will be provided through Rupashree Prakalpa by the Government of West Bengal.
- Girls will get Rs. 25,000 at the time of her marriage, if she fulfilled all the eligibility requirements and apply for this scheme.
- By this Rupashree Scheme, the number of child marriage will decrease.
- West Bengal Government will economically support the girl’s parents by providing this one-time amount at the time of their daughter’s marriage.

The government till not published the complete documents list for Rupashree Scheme, but these documents are mandatory – Annual Family Income Certificate, Applicant’s voter & aadhar card, guardian’s voter card, residential certificate, age proof certificate, marriage related documents.
