NSOU PG Admission 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Students must have to follow some specific eligibility guidelines to take admitted to Postgraduate courses at Netaji Subhas Open University. The details information are given below.
M.Sc in Mathematics (PGMT)
Candidate must have passed Honours Graduate (10+2+3) in Mathematics to apply for admission in this course.
M.Sc in Geography (PGGR)
Candidate must have passed Honours Graduate (10+2+3) in Geography to apply for admission in this course.
M.Sc in Zoology (PGZO)
Candidate must have to pass Honours Graduate (10+2+3) in Zoology to apply for admission in this course.
M.A in Bengali (PGBG)
The Candidate must have passed Graduation (10+2+3) from any recognised University and have studied at least 300 marks in Bengali and passed successfully.
M.A in English (PGEG), M.A in English Language Teaching (PGELT)
The Candidate must have passed Graduation (10+2+3) from any recognised University and have studied at least 300 marks in English and passed successfully.
M.A in History (PGHI)
The Candidate must have passed Graduation (10+2+3) from any recognised University and have studied at least 300 marks in History and passed successfully.
M.A in Political Science (PGPS)
The Candidate must have passed Graduation (10+2+3) from any recognised University and have studied at least 300 marks in Political Science and passed successfully.
M.A in Public Administration (PGPA)
The Candidate must have passed Graduation (10+2+3) from any recognised University and have studied at least 300 marks in Public Administration / Political Science / Sociology / Economics and passed successfully.
M.A in Education (PGED)
The Candidate must have passed Graduation (10+2+3) from any recognised University and have studied at least 300 marks in Education and passed successfully or other Graduate with B.Ed / Special B.Ed course.
M.Com (PGCO)
Candidate must have to pass B.Com / BBA Graduate (10+2+3) course to apply for admission in this course.
Master of Social Worker (PGSW)
Graduate (10+2+3) with Sociology / Political Science / History / Public Administration / Economics / Anthropology and have studied at least 300 marks in any of the above-mentioned subjects and passed successfully / LLB / LLM.
Master of Library & Information Science (MLIS)
Bachelor of Library and Information Science (BLIS) degree from a recognised University / other Graduate (10+2+3) with at least 300 marks of study in Library Science / Library and Information Science / Information Science course.
Bachelor of Library & Information Science (BLIS)
Graduate (10+2+3) of any recognised University with 45% in Honours subject for Honours graduates and 50% in aggregate for Pass Graduate having 3 subjects.
The seats are limited for PGGR and PGZO courses, so the admission will be made strictly on the basis of merit and the following reservation policy of the Government of West Bengal and the University.

Online Application Process for NSOU PG Admission
If you want to take admission in NSOU M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, MSW, MLIS or BLIS course then you have to fill the Online Application form from NSOU Admission Portal. The details step by step process is given below. Follow these steps and complete your online application process.
Fill the Online Application Form
The first visit to the official website of Netaji Subhas Open University, www.wbnsou.ac.in and click on the PG Admission 2022 option. You can directly visit the NSOU PG Admission 2022 portal (link is given below) and apply online. Now, fill the complete Application Form with your Personal, Communication & Academic Information.
Upload your recent scanned passport size photograph and signature. Select your Study Centre. Now Submit your Application Form. You will receive an SMS and email from NSOU containing your Application Number.
Application Form Print Out & Verification at Study Centre
Now candidates have to download the system-generated Application Form containing his/her all details. Attach all the supporting documents with the application form and visit your Study Centre for verification during it’s working hours. They will check and verify your Application Form and put their official stamp on the Application Form.
Pay the Admission Fees
Now candidates have to pay the Admission Fees. You can pay the fees through Online Mode or Offline Mode (Allahabad Bank Challan). After getting SMS for confirmation of receiving fees from the University end visit the admission website and click on ‘Check Payment Status’ button and give your Application ID and Date of Birth and take a printout of Payment Confirmation receipt.
Final Application Form Submission at Study Centre
After successfully paying the application fees to visit the Study Centre along with the Application Form, all the supporting documents (original & photocopy) and Payment Confirmation Receipt.
After verifying the payment confirmation receipt the Study Centre will give an APPLICATION FOR STUDENT ENROLLMENT from (Blue colour for PG and B&W for BLIS), Annexure-I and Annexure-II. Fill all these forms and then submit it to the study centre to complete the application process.

NSOU PG Online Admission Fees
Candidates have to pay the Admission Fees at the time of Online Application. You can pay the fees through Online Mode or through Allahabad Bank Challan. The Admission fees structure for each course is given below.

Download NSOU Enrollment cum SLM Certificate
After submitting all the documents to the Study Centre, you have to wait a few weeks to confirm your admission from the University. NSOU will provide a Provisional Enrollment cum SLM Certificate to the students. To download this certificate visit the NSOU PG Admission Portal frequently. SLM Certificate will require when you visit your Study Centre to collect the Study Materials.
