Eligibility Criteria for AMP Scholarship 2024
- AMP scholarship is open to students from economically disadvantaged families pursuing higher professional education.
- Students must be eligible to receive Zakat under Sharia guidelines.
- Students should have passed at least Class 12th or equivalent from any Board.
- Preference will be given to students pursuing higher education in professional disciplines such as Medical, Engineering, Law, Journalism etc., with special preference for top universities or colleges in India like IITs, IIMs, IISC, GLC, and others recognized by UGC/AICTE.
- The scholarship also covers technical and vocational courses in Industrial Training Institutes/Industrial Training Centers affiliated with the National Council for Vocational Training (NCVT) for classes at the graduation level.
AMP Higher Education Scholarship Online Application
Eligible students can apply online fro the AMP Higher Education scholarship scheme.
- Scholarship applications will be filled as a ‘Cause’ on the IndiaZakat portal by the needy students.
- These causes will be promoted by IndiaZakat amongst its donors as well as on social media.
- Register by logging in to the portal IndiaZakat.com
- Click on the “Raise a Cause” button at the top right of the home page.
- There are 5 tabs in the “Raise a Cause form.” You need to fill all five tabs to successfully raise the cause.
- In the section Choose Category, please select Scholarship from the dropdown menu.
- No hard copy application will be accepted.
Needy students will, have further chances of getting more funds through crowdfunding of their causes on the IndiaZakat platform other than the AMP Scholarship Fund. Background verification will be done by local AMP Chapters.

Required Documents
The following documents will require to apply online for IndiaZakat AMP Scholarship scheme.
- Class 10th/12th Passing Certificate & Mark sheets.
- All previous year’s mark sheets of the professional course (for candidates already enrolled in the middle of the course).
- Passport Size Photograph of the applicant.
- Address proof documents (Aadhaar/Ration/EPIC etc).
- College Fees structure.
- College Bank account details.
AMP Scholarship Amount & Selection Process
Disbursal of the scholarship amount will be done only through cheques/online payments to the respective institutions. No cash disbursal will be entertained. Total 300+ meritorious & needy students will be awarded a minimum of Rs. 10,000/- as a scholarship for their studies after due verification.
The students will be shortlisted based on the credentials submitted by them and evaluated by the AMP Team. Special preference for top universities or colleges in India like IITs, IIMs, IISC, GLC, and others recognized by UGC/AICTE.
