Seats are reserved for SC, ST, OBC, PH and Ex-Serviceman as per government rule.
Education Qualification for CHSL 2018
For apply online Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination candidates must have to pass Higher Secondary (10+2) examination or equivalent from any recognized Board/Council. Computer knowledge is mandatory for every post. For Postal Assistance/Shorting Assistance, Court Clerk and Lower Divisional Clerk posts candidates must have to type knowledge and must type 35 English word or 30 Hindi words per minute at the type of skill test.
For Data entry Operator posts candidates must have to type a passage at the speed of 8000 Computer Key-depression within 15 minutes. Typing test will be examined at the time of Skill Test, it is not mandatory when the candidate apply online for SSC CHSL examination.
Age Limit for Apply Online
For apply SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2018 Online, the age limit is 18 years to 27 years with respect to 1st January 2019. Age relaxation is available for SC/ST, OBC, PH, EX-Army candidates as per government rule.
Online Application Process for CHSL 2018
Application for SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2018 will be done online portal. Follow the steps for apply CHSL 2018 Online.
■ At first visit the application portal, http://164.100.129.99/chsl2018 or http://www.ssconline.nic.in and then click on the ‘Register’ option. Fill the form with your name, guardian name, date of birth, 10th class roll number, valid email id etc and then submit it.
■ After submitting the form you will get a unique Registration number and password, note it down. The last date for Apply Online is 27th December 2018.
■ After that, log in with your Registration number and password with this portal and fill the application form completely with your personal details, address. Upload your scanned passport size photographs and signature, size must be in between 20kb on that portal. Now, save your data.
■ The application fees for SSC CHSL examination is Rs. 100/-. Application fees can be paid by Online Debit/Credit Card or Internet Banking and through SBI bank challan. After paying the application fees, download the complete application form and take print it out for reference use. The last date of payment is 29th December 2018.
■ After successful application, no need to send any hard copies to the authority by post.

Exam Syllabus, Questions Pattern & Previous Year Question Download
SSC Combined Higher Secondary Level Examination 2018 Computer Based examination will be held on 4 subjects, General Intelligence, General Awareness, English Language and Quantitative Aptitude. Each subject/paper carries 25 questions with marks 2 each. Total marks for Tire-I examination is 200 and total time is 75 minutes.
All the questions on CHSL 2018 Tire-I examination are MCQ type and there is 0.50 negative marking for each wrong answer. Question Paper medium is English and Hindi. Selection Process for CHSL Exam
Candidates for Tier-2 will be selected by the marks of Tier-1 examination. There will be cut-off marks for each post, candidates who will score more than this cut-off marks, will eligible for CHSL Tier-2 exam. The basis of the performance of Tier-1 and Tier-2 and candidates who will score minimum 33% on Tier-2 will eligible for SSC CHSL Tier-3 Exam. Tier-3 is skill test exam.
