WB D.El.Ed Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria

West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE) published the complete Eligibility Guidelines as per NCTE for admission on WB D.El.Ed Course 2021. The detailed eligibility criteria are given below.

Education Qualification

Candidates should pass the HS (10+2) Examination or its equivalent from a recognised Board / Council / University with at least 50% marks in the aggregate.

For SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-Servicemen candidates the minimum required marks in the HS exam is 45%.

Subjects

Candidate must have studied the language (Bengali / Hindi / Urdu / Nepali) at HS level as a compulsory subject for which medium he/she will be applying for admission. The second language should be English.

Age Limit

The age of the candidate should not be above 35 years as of 1st July 2021. For SC/ST/PH Candidates the maximum age limit is 40 years and for OBC candidates 38 years.

Course Fees

For Government Institutions the course fees shall be as per the existing fee structure of the West Bengal Board of Primary Education.

The course fees for a Private / Self-Financed Institution shall be ₹12,000 per quarter in addition to ₹1000 per month as Hostel fees.
