WBPSC WBCS 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Public Service Commission, West Bengal (PSCWB) published the required eligibility guidelines for applying WBCS 2024 Exam Online. Candidates must have the following qualifications for West Bengal Civil Service Exam 2024.
Nationality
The candidate must be a Citizen of India or such other nationals as declared eligible by the Government of India.
Age Limit
Candidates must have to follow the age limit criteria for West Bengal Civil Service Exam WBCS 2024. All the dates will be calculated as of 1st January 2024.

Education Qualification

The minimum height requirement is 1.65 meters for male candidates and 1.50 meters for female candidates. Height relaxation is available for Gorkhas, Garwalis, Assamese Tribals etc candidates.

WBCS 2024 Online Application
The complete application process for PSCWB Civil Service (Exe) Exam 2024 is Online. The Online Application Start in June 2024. The step-by-step application process is described below.
Step-1: To apply for the WBCS 2024 Exam visit the Online Application Portal of PSCWB. You can visit any one of these websites – www.wbpsc.gov.in or visit https://pscwb.ucanapply.com for West Bengal Civil Service Exam Online Application.
Step-2:After visiting the website, click on the ENROL YOURSELF button if you are a first-time applicant at WBPSC or click on the Sign In if you have already your Enrolment Number and Password.
Step-3: After successful Sign In click on the Apply button under Advertisement No. XX/2024 and then fill the Application Form carefully. Upload scanned Photo and Signature.
Step-4: Now pay the WBCS Exam Application Fee of Rs. 210 through Credit/Debit Card, Net Banking or through bank counter (offline) deposit. No application fees will require for SC, ST and PH candidates.
Step-5: After paying the Application Fees (if applicable) take a print out the confirmation page for future reference.

WBCS 2024 Exam Pattern & Selection Process
West Bengal Public Service Commission will conduct the WBCS 2024 Exam in three steps – Preliminary Exam, Main Exam and Personality Test. There shall be Negative Marking for each wrong answer to the MCQ questions. The exam pattern of the West Bengal Civil Service (WBCS) Exam is described below.
WBCS Preliminary Exam
West Bengal Civil Service (Executive) 2024 Preliminary Exam will be held on August 2024. There will be total of eight subjects and each subject will contain 25 marks. Total marks for WBCS Preliminary Exam is 200 and the Duration of the Exam will be 2 hours 30 minutes.
The standard of the WBCS Preliminary Question Paper will be the level of knowledge as expected of a graduate of any faculty of a recognized University. The Topics/Subjects are given below.

WBCS Main Exam
Candidates who will qualify WBCS Preliminary Exam, are eligible to seat for Main Exam. The main exam shall consist of six compulsory papers and one optional subject consisting of two papers (only for the candidates applying for Group A or B). Each paper will carry 200 marks and the duration of the exam will be 3 hours.

WBCS Personality Test
Candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of WBCS Main Exam Performance to appear at Personality Test. Experts will be asked questions on the matter of General Interest to the candidates at assessing their personal qualities like alertness of mind, the power of clear and logical exposition, moral and intellectual integrity, leadership and interests. The marks for Personality Test for each group given below.

WBPSC WBCS 2024 Admit Card
West Bengal Public Service Commission will issue WBCS 2024 Admit Card for the Preliminary and Main Exam. PSCWB WBCS 2024 Exam Centres
