Eligibility Criteria for WBJEE 2017 Examination
For apply West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2017 candidates must have to follow the eligibility criteria.
For B.Pharm, B.E., B.Tech, B.Arch and Merin Engineering courses candidates must have to qualify Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination with at least 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Biology. For admission, candidates must have 30% marks in the English language. Number relaxation is available for SC, ST, OBC & PH candidates. This year Higher Secondary students also apply for WBJEE 2017 with some conditions. For Admission to Merin Engineering course candidates must have to qualify NATA examination.
The minimum age limit for apply WBJEE 2017 Examination is 17 years with respect to 31st December 2017. There is no maximum age limit for Apply. But for Merin Engineering course the maximum age limit is 25 years.
Examination Process & Admit Card Download for WBJEE 2017
Candidates will be selected for Admission by common entrance test WBJEE-2017. The examination will be conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. WBJEE 2017 Examination will be held on 23rd April 2017. Paper – I (Mathematics) 11:00 am to 1:00 pm & Paper – II (Physics & Chemistry) 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The subjects, which are in the syllabus of WBJEE 2017 are Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. All the questions are MCQ type and there is negative marking for each wrong answer. Admit Card for WBJEE 2017 Examination will be available online from 12th April 2017. Qualified candidates will get a Rank Card and eligible for Online Counseling of WBJEE 2017.
Online Application Process for WBJEE 2017 Examination
Application for WBJEE 2017 Examination will be done through Online mode only. The Application period is 5th January to 4th February 2017. For apply online candidates have to visit the WBJEE 2017 Examination portal, www.webjeeb.nic.in and then click on the Online Application WBJEE 2017 link. Now fill the application form carefully with all the following details and make a Password to login and save it. On the Second step, upload scanned copy of a photograph, Left Thumb Impression (LTI) and signature and Processed to Final Submit.
After Final Submit, candidates have to pay the Application fees of amount ₹500/-. Candidates can pay the application fees through Net Banking, Debit Card, Credit Card or through Bank Challan. Some extra amount will be required for Bank charge. After paying the Fees successfully, download the WBJEE 2017 Online Application Confirmation Page and take print it out.
Question Pattern for WBJEE 2017 Examination
West Bengal Board Joint Entrance Examination 2017 will be fully MCQ type exam. The examination will be divided into two parts, Part – I contain Mathematics of total marks 100 and Part – II contains Physics and Chemistry of total marks 50 each.
